South Dakota Avenue in Ames, IA will be closed for 6 months beginning April 1st, south of Highway 30. The road surface will be widened and the shoulder bike lanes will be added. This will make the road much safer for cyclists going to Kelley and to Slater.
This will match the road widening that was done from Slater to just north of Kelley.
